And have You so touched me

And have You so touched me

unlike any other:

kindnesses unobtrusively given,

proofs of caring, little and great,

patience unassumingly held,

nuanced hints of the unwritten, unspoken,

of assurances and acceptance,

a calmness gently spreading within,

calling, drawing into warmth,

into a weightiness that grows

upwelling, surging response

that can only be a kind of loving,

kindly and subtle, bathing,

spilling over into consciousness,

into intensities of sensing You

touching me.
